International, Interstate, and Hawaii Health Certification Information

Thank you for entrusting Kiln Creek Animal Care with your pet travel needs. Our team is ready to help you and your pets meet the requirements for pet travel to your destination. Each country, state, and Hawaii have their own pet travel requiements and forms that need completing in addition to the USDA requirements. It is imperative to keep in mind that the requirements set in place by your destination may differ from the requirements of your airline and breed restrictions may apply. Please review the following information and research accordingly.It is important that you plan ahead as certain destinations can take up to a year to prepare for.This process cannot be rushed or done at the last minute.

What we do:

• Microchipping
• Update vaccines
• FAVN (Rabies Antibody Titer Testing) and/or other required lab work
• Health certificate exams and paperwork (including submission for USDA endorsement)
• Other veterinary services as necessary

What you do:

• Plan far in advanced!
• Research breed restrictions, airline requirements, destination requirements – some airlines have required forms such as acclimation forms
• Complete necessary import applications, advanced notifications, other documentation not associated with veterinary services
• Provide prepaid overnight shipping labels as needed by destination
• Provide all medical records and complete our client packet for more streamlined planning
